The barn is built from reclaimed Hudson Valley materials. Hand-hewn beams, vaulted ceilings, barn wood floors, and sliding barn doors give the space a character that sets up beautifully for any birthday celebration without heavy decorating. The barn is fully heated and air-conditioned, so your event works in every season.

We set up 10 rustic farm tables as the foundation of your layout. For larger guest counts, we bring in round tables while keeping the farm tables in the design. Wood cross-back chairs with cushions, all linens, flatware, china, and glassware are included for up to 220 guests.

Outside, our 40x50-foot stone patio is right off the barn doors. The open lawn, tented area, and fire pit managed by our on-site staff make The Preston Barn a genuine outdoor birthday venue for guests who want the celebration to flow beyond four walls. Lawn games are available throughout the day, and the fire pit is one of the most popular parts of any evening event.

The Carriage House across the street has seven bedrooms with breakfast at Old Drovers Inn included. The Preston House just down the road sleeps eight guests with four private en-suite bedrooms, a full kitchen, and two living rooms.
