Congratulations on your recent engagement and thank you for considering Old Drovers Inn as your venue for your special day! We strive to make your experience as personalized and memorable as possible. The Preston Barn at Old Drovers Inn is a perfect reflection of old meets new. With historic elements that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, this newly constructed barn has all the convenience that today’s couples desire. Hand hewn beams, vaulted ceilings and barn wood floors and walls. With amenities such as heat and A/C you are sure to be comfortable any time of the year. Our barn easily holds parties up to 250 comfortably with room for a good size dance floor and band or DJ. Off-season discounts are offered for events. 

What's included?


TABLES, CHAIR & LINENS

Tables, Chairs, and Linens will be provided for your reception for up to 250 people. Table linens and napkins will be provided once you’ve decided your floor plans. Several color options are available. Barn site fee also includes all flatware, china, and glassware.

FLOOR AND SEATING PLANS

Seating plans and floor layout will be coordinated with Old Drovers event planner. Floor plans will be provided for the desired head count.

RESTROOMS

The use of restrooms in the Preston barn are available to guests. The use of the Inn restrooms is only available for those staying at the Inn.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

The Preston Barn has a commercial kitchen that is fully equipped and Board of Health approved. It has a grill area, cold prep area, walk in cooler and freezer. Perfect for our in-house catering or yours!

LIGHTING OPTIONS

The Preston Barn is set up to customize your lighting needs. From glass chandeliers to decorative string lights let us assist you with customizing your special day.

ON-SITE CEREMONY AND REHEARSAL

You and your wedding party will be able to walk through your ceremony with our event planner or your wedding coordinator the evening before your wedding. Rehearsal dinner options are available.

WEDDING COORDINATOR

Our on-site coordinator will be there to guide you in the planning process from your first site visit to the end of your event. Let Stephanie make sure the venue meets all of your expectations and beyond, creating the best wedding experience for you.

PARKING

Parking is available across the street from the Inn and is very close in proximity to the Preston barn. We provide parking attendants for the first hour of your event. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate large party/buses for guests who are traveling together. A handicap parking area is located adjacent to the Preston Barn for those individuals needing assistance. We can also provide a golf cart shuttle for those guests who are unable to walk or need assistance.

VENDOR LIST

When you book your wedding, we will provide you with a list of preferred vendors, but you are more than welcome to bring in your own vendors as long as they provide the correct insurance information needed.

CLEAN-UP

You are responsible to remove any décor that is not the property of Old Drovers Inn. All debris and garbage must be removed and placed in dumpsters provided. All other cleaning will be provided by Old Drovers Inn staff.

CATERING BY OLD DROVERS INN

All catering, food and beverage, for barn events are done in house by Old Drovers Inn. Chef Everett will work with you to customize a menu suitable to you in any style you prefer. Whether buffet, family style or plated sit-down affair!

OLD DROVERS INN FOR THE WEEKEND

You must buy out our 6 room Inn for you and your guests during your wedding weekend. This provides you the ability to enjoy and relax with family and friends prior to your wedding and makes getting dressed, hair & makeup, along with sneak peaks & family pictures convenient.

REHEARSAL DINNER

Let Chef Everett provide you, your family and friends a beautiful private rehearsal dinner at Old Drovers Inn. A customized menu to your liking will be created or you and your guests using local and fresh ingredients.

8-person minimum - up to 30 people 

WEDDING DAY BRUNCH

A wonderful way to start your wedding day is with a brunch created in house by Chef Everett. He will work with you to customize a scrumptious brunch for you and your wedding party to enjoy while getting ready on your big day.

COUPLE SEND-OFF BRUNCH

A great way to end your weekend and say goodbye is by hosting a couple’s sendoff brunch. Guests who are not staying at the Inn are more than welcome to attend. This is a great way to say, “thank you” to your family & friends and relive memories from the night before. Let Chef Everett create a delicious menu with local and fresh ingredients.

FIRE PIT

A fire pit for the evening will be made available and managed by onsite staff.

GOLF CART SHUTTLE

A golf cart shuttle can be provided for the day from our parking area to the inn or Preston Barn. A six-person golf cart with a driver from the beginning of your event to the end.

FARM HOUSE

Rental of the Farmhouse is also available but not included in the inn buy out 3 bedrooms, plus Family Room pull out couch, 3 full baths, eat in kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, family room with fireplace, screened in heated porch, two covered porches, and laundry.

MOUNTAIN CABIN

Rental of the Mountain Cabin is also available but not included in the buy out.

4 bedrooms – sleeps 8, 2 full baths, dining room, living room with fireplace, covered porch, and laundry.

ORCHARD CEREMONY

You may opt to have your ceremony in our orchard located just 2 miles down the road. This special location is totally secluded, and in intimate area for your special day. We will provide you with a manicured site, chairs, and parking attendant.

Let us transport your people from the lodging we provide to and from the event.

PRICING

Pricing is based on head count. The site fee includes farm tables and/or rounds, chairs, linens, flatware, china, and glassware. It includes the weekend use of the barn, the property and terraces around the Inn if you choose. Set up on the property and barn will be discussed, and noted in your contract as all events are customized to each couple’s needs.

We only host one wedding per weekend, and a full Inn buyout with a two-night minimum stay is required of all weddings.
